Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP EWM solutions to optimize warehouse operations and supply chain processes. This role requires strong functional knowledge of warehouse management processes along with hands-on configuration experience in SAP EWM.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.Configure key EWM processes including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, and inventory management.
Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions to support warehouse and logistics operations.
Work closely with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
Support integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and TM.
Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide production support and issue resolution for warehouse management processes.
Develop and maintain documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and configuration documents.
Assist in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide training and guidance to end users and junior consultants.
Required Skills & Experience
Good understanding of IDocs and integration concepts.Preferred Skills
5–8 years of experience in SAP EWM implementation or support projects.
Strong understanding of warehouse management and logistics processes.
Hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration and customization.
Experience in EWM integration with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
Knowledge of RF framework, warehouse monitor, and queue management.
Experience with testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Experience with S/4HANA Embedded EWM or Decentralized EWM.
Knowledge of warehouse automation integration (RF, barcode, or robotics).
Exposure to ABAP debugging or technical coordination.
Experience working in Agile or global project environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
SAP certification in EWM is a plus.
