JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPOSIBILITIES:
The Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Architect focuses across a portfolio of projects and enterprise operations engaged with architecture, while supporting individual system or solution architects in that portfolio.
The IT Enterprise Architect ensures that both system and solution architecture work collectively in a way that maximizes service delivery.
This role manages the XXXXX enterprise architecture roadmap process, facilitates assessments when needed on any architecture discipline, and defines enterprise architecture standards and documentation requirements providing an enterprise architecture foundation for the xxxxxxx and provide proof of concept .
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment:
Ensuring IT systems and processes are aligned with the organization’s business strategy and objectives.
Architecture Development:
POC , Designing, developing, and maintaining the enterprise architecture, including data, applications, integrations, infrastructure, security and including below skills.
60% hands-on
must have “Native Azure Services”, Strong SQL preferably on MS SQL Server, Azure DevOps, exposure to No-SQL databases. Strong preference for candidates with experience in React.
Strong experience in building API, Event, micro-services-based architecture.
String experience in integrating COTS products/applications, integration platforms
Experience working with offshore and onshore teams
Experience in working with onshore functional teams and vendors directly
Ability to work other development teams as a developer in the scrum team
Road mapping:
Creating and maintaining a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise architecture, outlining future technology investments and initiatives.
Solution Design:
Providing architectural guidance and oversight for specific projects and solutions, ensuring they align with the overall enterprise architecture.
Governance:
Establishing and enforcing architectural standards, policies, and best practices.
Technology Evaluation:
Evaluating new and emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact on the enterprise architecture.
Communication and Collaboration:
Working with various stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors, to communicate architectural decisions and ensure alignment.
Change Management:
Leading and managing the implementation of changes to the enterprise architecture, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Microsoft .NET , Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security.
Architectural Methodologies: Experience with various architectural frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF .
Business Acumen: Understanding of business strategy, processes, and objectives.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Leadership and Influence: Ability to lead and influence teams and stakeholders to adopt new technologies and processes.
Experience: Typically requires several years of experience in IT roles, including experience with systems management and implementation of business plans.
