Job Description

Oracle OTM Consultant Position

We are seeking an experienced Oracle OTM Consultant to join our team. The key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
  • Configuring and customizing OTM modules such as Order Management, Shipment Management, Planning & Optimization, Freight Payment, and Master Data Management.
  • Developing and maintaining OTM Agents, Automation Agents, User Exits, Custom Actions, and Saved Queries.
  • Designing and implementing OTM integrations using XML/Transmission Builder, REST/SOAP Web Services, and integrating with ERP systems (Oracle ERP, SAP, etc.).
  • Developing custom reports using BI Publisher.
  • Performing data migration activities using FBDI / CSV / integration tools.
  • Working on OTM Cloud upgrades, patching, and release management.
  • Troubleshooting performance issues and providing production support.
  • Participating in solution design discussions and technical architecture reviews.
  • Collaborating with functional consultants, business users, and integration teams.
  • Preparing technical design documents (TDD), integration documents, and deployment plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
  • Strong knowledge of OTM data model, architecture (Cloud and On-Prem), OTM Agents & Automation, and Transmission & Integration Framework.
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, SQL, PL/SQL, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
  • Proficiency in Oracle DB and a good understanding of logistics and transportation business processes.
  • Experience in OTM Cloud migrations / Lift and Shift projects is preferred.
  • Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Exposure to Global Trade Management (GTM).
  • Experience in multi-region OTM rollouts.
